About PAPPA Co., Ltd. - Who we are:

There is not another foreigner who has been invited by the Thai government and attended as many training classes in Thai law as Drew Noyes. He was invited by the Ministry of the Interior to attend specialized seminars in Thai law. Drew Noyes also has special permission by the Thai government to do any type of business as a service to foreigners. Drew and his senior staff scrutinize Thai attorneys and pick only the best and incorruptible to join our team. Language is never a problem as all of the legal assistants and Managing Directors speak Thai and English.

The attorneys at PAPPA Co., Law office, led by Mr. Piasan Thannok, Attorney-at-Law, can handle any type of litigation or court action including civil, commercial and criminal cases.

A lawyer, according to Black's Law Dictionary, is "a person learned in the law"

An attorney can be any lay person who is appointed by another person to represent him as "Attorney-in-Fact"

A person registered with a bar association and licensed to present a case in a court of law is a "Attorney-at-Law"

As most foreigners know, only a Thai national can be a member of the bar and be an Attorney-at-Law.

At the Pattaya office of PAPPA Co., Ltd. we have licensed, registered Thai Attorneys-at-Law who work for us in addition to support staff comprised of researchers, para-legals, investigators, court-oriented clerical staff and accountants. Because of this we call ourselves "Pattaya Lawyers" collectively.

When a foreigner who can not speak Thai or who is more comfortable confiding in a fellow foreigner needs help we give him 15 minutes of consultation free andf if we can tell him how to resolve the problem himself we do without charge. The meeting is usually with the Managing Director and a paralegal.

However, if our client would like to retain PAPPA Co., Ltd. to negotiate, investigate or mediate on his behalf we enter into a contract clearly defining the objective, costs, and steps that will be taken to achieve the desired results for our client.

If the situation has escalated beyond our skill sets we ask one or more of the Thai attorneys to step in and look at the case and begin filing legal documents and/or court cases on behalf of the client if requested to do so by our client.
